Polk County Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer & Rancher Committee invites the public to enjoy a hayride through the lights of George Street in Bartow the evenings of December 14th and 15th. The Holiday Hayride will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on both evenings. The tour costs $5 per person, and starts at the Polk County Farm Bureau office located at 1715 Highway 17 South in Bartow.

The Second Annual North Florida FolkFest will be held on Saturday, September 22, at the Florida Agricultural Museum in Palm Coast.l
The North Florida Folk Network and the Florida Agricultural Museum are jointly presenting the festival, a family oriented acoustic music event. More than a dozen of Florida’s finest singer/songwriters will be performing on two stages. There will also be a jam session and an open mic stage.

Hosted by the Florida Agricultural Museum and Florida Orienteering

Open to all ages and experience levels from the smallest toddler to the adventurous grandparent.  Instructors will be available at this event.  Orienteering is the sport of navigation with map and compass.  It's easy to learn, but always challenging.
