It's a relationship that sets a standard from practice and example not just talk. My concern is that the Board of Education is concerned about promoting contracts with big name commercial processed food companies. Who better to lead the way in child health and nutrition in public schools then the very people who grow the food? I think that Putnam’s relationship & background with local farmers is key to success in promoting healthy eating to Floridians.
